At Accident Shield, we want you to feel confident in your decision. We offer a straightforward cancellation policy that prioritizes fairness for both you and our platform.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your Accident Shield subscription at any time by:
- 1.Logging into your account and visiting Settings > Subscription
- 2.Clicking "Cancel Subscription" and confirming your request
- 3.Contacting our support team at support@accidentshield.app
Refunds
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you cancel within 30 days of your initial purchase, we'll refund 100% of your subscription fee, no questions asked.
After 30 Days
If you cancel after the 30-day period:
- •Days 31–60: You receive a 50% refund of your current billing cycle
- •Days 61+: No refund for the current billing cycle; your access continues until the end of your current billing period
Billing Cycle Information
Your subscription renews on the same date each month (or year, depending on your plan). Refunds are calculated based on your original billing date:
Example 1: Monthly Billing
You signed up on May 1 at $49/month. If you cancel on May 25, you're within the 30-day window and receive a full refund.
Example 2: After 30 Days
You signed up on May 1. On June 10, you cancel. You receive a 50% refund (~$24.50) because you're in the 31–60 day window.
Example 3: Long-Term Subscriber
You signed up on May 1. On July 15, you cancel. You've passed the 60-day mark, so your access continues through June 30 (your next billing date), with no refund.
Access After Cancellation
After you cancel, your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current billing period. Your case data and documents are always yours and can be exported or downloaded before your subscription ends.
Reactivating Your Subscription
If you cancel and later decide to reactivate, you can do so anytime from your Settings. Your historical case data will be fully restored. No extra fees apply for reactivation.
Free Account Option
You can downgrade to our free tier at any time. The free version includes core documentation features—perfect if you just need to document an accident without premium analysis tools.
